Wasshdog Workshop: Projection Mapping For Beginners

Join us for our first in a series of Washdog Workshops at the studio. Learn projection mapping for installation, art and events using Touchdesigner. Learn the basics in this one day workshop at Washdog Studio from resident artist Miles Dunne.

Projectors will be provided for workshop attendees, but people should bring their own laptops with Touchdesigner installed. The program downloads for macOS and Windows can be found here.

This workshop will be accessible to those with no experience, but if you would like to get a handle of the basics of Touchdesigner, an introductory workshop from fellow Washdog artist Dave Court can be viewed here.

Miles Dunne (he/they) is an emerging multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans digital mediums, sculpture, installation, and live performance. In the initial years of their professional career, Dunne has delved into the intersection of digital programming and physical space, employing sculpture, light, and sound to explore themes shaped by his upbringing amidst rapid technological advancement. Their work recontextualises technology to investigate augmentation and mutation within physical environments and objects.

This project has been assisted by the Australian Government through Creative Australia, its principal arts investment and advisory body.
