360º Visuals, Sound & Space
Step inside the dome and rethink how art can exist in space. This five-session lecture and lab invites artists and creative technologists into Wisdome at Tekniska Museet to explore how image, sound and architecture can be composed as one shared experience.
Led by Nicole Chufi, this lab is designed for conceptual artists, audiovisual creators, designers, performers, sound artists, and creative technologists who are curious about expanding their practice into spatial environments beyond flat screens.
Rather than focusing solely on technical instruction, this course approaches dome technology as a space for research, experimentation and collective development, inviting participants to test how image, sound and space can be composed together as one immersive experience.
with tools and artistic approaches, while remaining open to testing new workflows and formats in a shared research environment.
Agenda
The lab will begin mid-April and unfold across five sessions:
- Introduction to Wisdome and full-dome creation
- Visual workflows & projection mapping for dome (with TouchDesigner)
- Spatial sound design (Ableton)
- Collaborative concept development
- Rehearsal & showcase in the dome
What You Will Explore
- How to think and compose for full-dome environments
- Mapping and pre-visualisation for dome formats
- Spatial sound fundamentals
- Creating real-time content (TouchDesigner)
- Developing dome scenes collaboratively
- Prototyping and testing work inside the dome
By the end of the lab, participants will understand the fundamentals of creating for dome technology and will have developed a prototype to be tested in the Wisdome.
Bring your laptop, headphones, curiosity, and a willingness to experiment.

About host
Nicole Chufi (she/her) is a Brazilian audiovisual artist and experiential designer working across sound, moving image, and immersive technologies.
Her practice focuses on making invisible intelligences perceptible — emotions, intuition, memory, and subtle relational dynamics, through technological and spatial experiences. Through collaborative and research-driven processes, she creates immersive environments where sound, image, and embodied presence unfold together to explore human depth and collective reflection.
Working across performance, education, and interdisciplinary formats, Nicole approaches emerging tools as creative collaborators while maintaining human agency and cultural specificity.
