This free workshop focuses on POPs, the new Point Operator family released in TouchDesigner 2025. POPs deliver a fully GPU-accelerated pipeline for creating and manipulating 3D geometry, particles, point clouds, lines and curves, DMX lighting, and general data processing at high performance.
Led by Ben Voigt, Product Manager at Derivative, the session begins with a clear introduction to core POP concepts—points, attributes, vertices, and primitives—before moving into practical, hands-on workflows for content creation. Participants will explore how to build and animate complex systems that were previously constrained by CPU-based approaches, unlocking new creative possibilities for real-time visuals, interactive installations, and data-driven projects.
Whether you are new to POPs or looking to deepen your understanding, this workshop offers a focused overview and actionable techniques you can apply immediately in your own work.
