Audio reactivity or the art of making your visuals dance to the music is certainly one of the most asked for capabilities of TouchDesigner and at the core of VJing. And while this seems very achievable in TouchDesigner, a program built around the idea of making live visuals, it’s also way to easy to end up with mechanically flickering content, that becomes boring very fast.
That is why you should join this session with Bileam Tschepe, who is not only creating beautiful visuals with TouchDesigner but also makes music and has built his own visual performance tool called “algorhythm”. Bileam will share tips and tricks from his own practice, how to make visuals audio-reactive but keep creative control at all times.
Learn how to analyse live or prerecorded audio and process the resulting data in meaningful ways. understand how you can send data to and from DAWs and get to know the new VST Host, that allows you to use virtual instruments right inside of TouchDesigner.
After the live lesson you will get access to the recording and the workshop files for one year.
