I came to Touchdesigner from timeline-based video editing in programs like iMovie, Adobe Premiere and Davinci Resolve. For a few years I also built patches in Magic Music Visualizer. I was always frustrated by the UI of iMovie and similar programs.
Crystal Jow creates a fully generative scene that combines techniques like Rutt-Etra displacements, Kinect player index data, particles, noise, colour palettes, and more! It highlights how quickly you can put together interesting generative scenes in TouchDesigner.

Touchdesigner already has a nice set of basic operators for building geometry like the SphereSOP or the GridSOP. However there might be use cases where you need to work with custom and adjustable geometry.
For the last months I have been working on improving and expanding the capabilities of TDMorph, moved by the great response and wide adoption that the first release got. I am very happy to say that the new engine is faster, prettier and much more powerful!
