WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
A TouchDesigner programmer and operator to collaborate on a solo physical theater work in active development. We're looking for someone available to join rehearsals ON-SITE as soon as possible — ideally, someone based in the south of France or able to travel to the Cévennes region.
⚠️ Please note: Internet connectivity in the area is currently very limited, so on-site presence is strongly preferred.
KEY DATES
• Immediate – May 8 (possibly extended to May 17): Rehearsal period at Roy Hart Centre
• May 8/17 – June 29: Performer travels to New York (gap in residency)
• June 30 – Performer returns to France for the Myth and Theater Festival - there will be very limited studio space for rehearsals
• ~July 10: Work-in-progress presentation (exact date to be announced)
CONDITIONS
• Fee negotiable based on experience and availability
• This is a self-funded, independent production; keep that in mind!
• Lodging at the Center may be available
• A collaborative, experimental working environment
ABOUT THE WORK
It is a solo physical theater piece currently in development, created and performed by Andressa Furletti, a multidisciplinary artist and Artistic Director of Group Dot BR (New York's only Brazilian theater company), directed by Linda Wise from Pantheatre (France). The work explores the creative process through an autobiographical physical theater lens.
