We are looking for a digital artist with experience in TouchDesigner to collaborate on an interactive art project. The project involves creating sensor-reactive animations and integrating multimedia into an immersive art installation. If you’re passionate about digital art and have experience with projects that involve audience-environment interaction through generative visualizations and creative programming, this could be your opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Design and development of interactive animations with TouchDesigner.
- Integration of sensors (e.g., motion, pressure) to create art experiences that respond in real time to external stimuli.
- Collaboration with the creative and technical team to execute the artistic vision of the project.
- System performance optimization for a smooth user experience.
- Participation in system setup and testing within the exhibition space.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with TouchDesigner in interactive or digital art projects.
- Knowledge of generative visualization, creative programming, and real-time interactive systems.
- Experience in integrating sensors and interactive technologies (Kinect, LIDAR, motion sensors, sound, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of Python and ability to create complex node networks in TouchDesigner.
- Creativity and ability to solve technical problems efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with multimedia installations or interactive art projects.
- Knowledge of projection mapping and immersive experience design.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
