TouchDesigner / Creative Coding Collaborator for Generative Art Installation

London

I'm looking for a London-based creative coder or small studio to collaborate on building a custom system that programmatically degrades two static images and field recordings (sound). The goal is to avoid animation in favour of real-time image and sound decomposition through code-based processes such as compression artefacting, pixel drift, chromatic distortion, bit-depth reduction, audio filtering, and algorithmic erosion. The result should simulate structured data loss over time, rather than real-time animation or glitch overlays, and unfold slowly across a defined temporal sequence.

Relevant tools might include TouchDesigner, Processing, p5.js, or custom GLSL/Python workflows. You’ll be developing the backbone of a visual/sound installation in which the media gradually loses clarity, reflecting on both machine memory and ecological disappearance.

I’ll be in London in June and prefer close in-person collaboration. This is an independent commission with a modest production budget. We aim to collaborate with a studio or coder who is comfortable working within a lean, well-scoped project structure. Further details on budget and timelines can be shared upon request or after initial interest.

This is an opportunity to be part of conceptually rich, internationally exhibited work with curatorial backing and clear project documentation. If interested, please reach out with a portfolio or relevant samples.

Thank you!
