Freelance TouchDesigner Artist

Commersive Solutions in Toronto is seeking a highly skilled and creative Freelance TouchDesigner Artist to join our team for a short-term project. 

We’re currently looking for a creative and technical artist experienced in creating real-time 3D interactive graphics using TouchDesigner.

This project involves modifying a 4K QuickTime video with interactive elements driven by a live camera feed.

Project Details:

• A 40-second 4K QuickTime will play a looping image sequence.
• We want to track people walking by, potentially transforming them into blobs, and use their movement to displace/warp the QuickTime.
• Additionally, we want to generate a stream of flowing particles (or smoke) that interacts with these blobs.
• There will be a live camera feed to capture the people’s motion.
• The final content will be displayed live on a large LED wall.

Composite Breakdown:

1. Animated QuickTime
2. Image displacement/warp based on blobs from the camera feed
3. Wispy smoke particles interacting with the blobs
4. Final composite displayed live on a 4K LED wall
