El Perro "Fan Theories" Live

Hey everyone,

I’m Horacio Bolz, visual artist / film director / musician from Uruguay based in Madrid.

I’m currently producing an immersive live music show called “Fan Theories” inside a 360 fulldome venue in Madrid (Domo360).

The project sits somewhere between live concert, cinema, immersive installation, realtime reactive visual performance .

 

This is NOT a traditional VJ setup.

 

The show is heavily based around:

• TouchDesigner

• realtime camera processing  

• generative visuals  

• audio reactive systems  

• Kinect tracking  

• StreamDiffusion  

• live camera manipulation  

• modular visual states  

• cinematic progression across songs  

 

The visual language is intentionally emotional/cinematic rather than EDM/festival aesthetics.

 

The playback/sync infrastructure is already fully built.

Ableton + ABLESET trigger Resolume scenes, which then send OSC cues into TouchDesigner.

Inside TD, the project is structured as modular scene containers:• each visual state lives independently  • scenes stay bypassed until triggered  • visuals evolve dynamically per verse/chorus/bridge  • not timeline-based full-song renders  

At the moment there are around 11 TD-based pieces in the show.

Some are already developed and need alternate visual states, progression/evolution , stronger transitions, additional visual behaviours.

 

Others are still intentionally open creatively and would involve developing new visual pieces together.

 

References lean toward: cinematic  , analog.

We’re also incorporating:

• live operated cameras  

• 360 footage

• realtime visual processing

 • interactive visual moments  

 

Ideally someone who:

• is comfortable inside TouchDesigner  

• understands realtime performance environments  

• has strong visual taste beyond “cool effects”  

• enjoys collaborative artistic workflows  

• can think emotionally/cinematically, not only technically  

• bonus if you have fulldome / immersive projection experience  

 

This is an independent artist-driven production, so budgets are flexible depending on scope and level of involvement.
