■ Contents (subject to change)

Using ZIG SIM, we will import the sensor value of the smartphone into Touch Designer and visualize it.

Let's use ZIG SIM & your smarphone to create a visual that draws a line of light in space.

You need to install ZIG SIM (free version) on your smartphone to take the course.

It is an  application that enables rapid prototype development by using various sensors built into smartphones itself.

Ken-ichi KAWAMURA / @kenichikawamura

Dentsu Isobar: Creative Director / Media Artist

After working as an art director and interaction designer, joined Dentsu Isobar.

He is engaged in technology-based creativity like design, technology, and marketing knowledge.

He is involved in video production, system development for business events, distribution systems, workshop instructors, and stage performances at events in Japan.

He have published a TouchDesigner book : 「ビジュアルクリエイターのためのTOUCHDESIGNERバイブル」

 

 

■ Requirements

  • A recent computer with the latest official TouchDesigner 099 installed and keyed (more information on installation and licenses here). If your computer is older please inquire if it will be appropriate for the workshop content.
  • A 2-button mouse with scroll wheel), or 3 button mouse.
  • Please consult the System Requirements to make sure your computer is capable of running TouchDesigner 099.
  • Zoom account (register for the free account here)
  • Installed ZIG Simulator App on your smartphone : https://zig-project.com/
