Sohrab is an interdisciplinary artist and designer based in Berlin, Germany. With a foundation in digital media and architecture, and a Master’s degree in New Media Design, his work spans a broad spectrum of digital and spatial media design. Sohrab’s creative projects blend his architectural background and digital media expertise with AI techniques, crafting spatial and interactive installations and virtual reality experiences that explore the dynamic relationship between digital and physical spaces. His Iranian heritage informs his artistic practice, as he reinterprets traditional forms like Nastaliq Calligraphy, Persian miniature art, and carpets through new media, creating a dialogue between the past and the present.
