LUMENOCITY – The Λrt of Light is a large-scale light art festival that will transform Cape Town’s historic Company’s Garden into a living canvas of light, imagination, and play. Running from 9–12 April 2026, the festival will bring together some of South Africa’s leading artists, designers, and technical creators to produce a world-class cultural experience rooted in innovation, creativity, and community.
As a lead-in to the festival, the Beam of Hope activation will launch on 3 April 2026: a powerful sky beam visible across the city, acting as a symbolic invitation and beacon of anticipation for what’s to come.
