Face-Tracking Effects Creation with External Python Libraries
Demand for video chat is growing due to #StayHome movement and remote work recommendations.
By using various face effect applications such as SnapChat, you can realize communication that expresses familiarity and individuality even if you are in front of the display.
With the official update of TouchDesigner released on April 10, NDI and RTMP can be used in the Non-Commercial version, enabling real-time video distribution to various platforms such as zoom and other browsers.
With this background, TDSW will hold a workshop to create original face effects with TouchDesigner.
Hirokazu Fujioka, the technical director of 1-10, explained the Fare-Tracking System part, based on this content. Then, taking over his system, Satoru Higa, Backspace Productions Inc. will create some face effect samples.
At the end of the workshop, another special guest will be invited to introduce a more unique face effect. .
Make your own original face effect and enjoy video chat life more!
