Hello Derivative Community!
Troy here, organizer of the Denver TouchDesigner Jam! We're thrilled to announce our fourth monthly meetup, happening in just 10 days on Tuesday, July 15th, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM MDT at Public Offering Brewing in Denver, Colorado.
Our goal with the TD Jam is to create a local, collaborative space where TouchDesigner users of all levels—from seasoned developers to eager newcomers—can gather. The "Give First" ethos is at our core: we encourage working on personal projects side-by-side, sharing knowledge, troubleshooting technical hurdles, and fostering genuine connections.
For this upcoming session, we're adding a structured segment: Flash Presentations (6:30 PM - 7:00 PM). This will be an open block for brief, informal presentations. If you have a small project, a clever technique, a favorite component, or even a specific problem you're grappling with in TouchDesigner, this is a fantastic opportunity to share it with the group and get live feedback or inspiration. We aim for quick, visually-driven shares that spark discussion.
Please note that we are transitioning our primary event management platform from Meetup.com to Luma. This upcoming July 15th event will be cross-listed, but all future Denver TouchDesigner Jam sessions will be announced and RSVP'd via Luma. We believe this platform provides a more streamlined experience.

We are also exploring alternative venues for future meetups that could offer enhanced technical capabilities for projections and larger setups. Any insights or suggestions from the broader community on ideal spaces for creative coding meetups are always welcome!
