Real-Time Design will utilize the principles of performance, illustration, & design to explore the development of artwork in virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR/projection mapping). Real-time has re-emerged as an important paradigm both for artists and industry. Real-Time Design is informed by the rich histories of performance in the visual arts and will prepare students to engage/challenge the artist's role in emerging fields of experience design, generative design, real-time motion graphics.
