In our experience working with light, one of our ongoing frustrations has been the preview of light bounces on reflective surfaces. No preview or 3D software offers a tool capable of displaying those trajectories, which is critical when working with lasers.

I exhibited last fall, creating 126 Metahumans and acting alone. It has a choral format and is controlled through a connection between TouchDesigner and ARDUINO. The exhibition included three sets of 10-inch speakers and one main speaker set, held at a church.

During the summer, work was hard to find, so I repurposed some of our fancier Christmas lights into a display to share with the neighborhood. Content was created, cued, and controlled in Touch Designer before outputting the sACN to the lights.
