After a successful Summer Season of learning for more than sixty students, we’re back with new courses open for enrollment this Winter Season 2023/24.
We've meticulously curated and designed a program for those looking to take their first steps in the world of visual programming and interactive media with TouchDesigner and VVVV.
Our online courses are led by experienced instructors and feature weekly sessions that allow participants to acquire new skills that will complement their studies or professional work. Our Beginner classes are sold as a single block, and participants are provided with access to all recordings, project files and course material for one year from the date of purchase.
TD BEGINNER CLASS WINTER 2023/24

Join us for a transformative semester-long course. This weekly add-on to your studies or work is specifically designed to teach you a new creative coding tool that can be leveraged in your career. You'll be part of a diverse group of learners hailing from various countries and backgrounds, united in the pursuit of mastering this new skill.
Regardless of whether you're an artist, musician, architect, programmer, event technician, educator or simply a curious mind, this course is ideal for anyone seeking a creative learning experience.
Over the course of 12 weekly sessions, you'll gain a comprehensive understanding of visual programming in TouchDesigner. Each module is structured around creating small, playful interactive example programs, which will enable you to explore the full range of TouchDesigner's capabilities.

We understand that the economic value of our course may differ depending on the participant's circumstances, and we urge everyone to make a responsible and respectful decision when choosing their ticket.
We recognize that this knowledge can be highly lucrative in the advertising, branding, event, or science sectors. However, we also understand that it may not necessarily translate to financial gain in small independent projects without a commercial background. Regardless of your situation, we encourage you to select the ticket that aligns with your needs and circumstances:
– Student & Hobbyist
You are currently studying or want to learn TouchDesigner for personal reasons that are not related to your source of income.
– Professional
You are working professionally as a self employed or freelancing person and want to learn TouchDesigner to advance your career and win new customers by expanding your skills.
Maybe you work as an employee in another field, but want to qualify yourself for new challenges, yet your company is not supporting you on this path.

You are employed with or are running a company that will leverage the new skills acquired in their work with clients. You want to further qualify your employees and support them on their learning path.

Each company ticket includes a scholarship for someone to benefit from this opportunity.
CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
Due to popular demand we decided to offer the opportunity for participants to earn certification based on the knowledge gained from our Beginners Class. Under the guidance of our instructors, participants will work on an assignment over the course of three sessions of personal feedback and consultation, culminating in the creation of an interactive program inspired by real-life scenarios.
Upon successful completion of the assignment and meeting the established criteria, The NODE Institute will certify that the participant is capable of working with TouchDesigner on an intermediate level. This certification confirms that the individual is qualified to find solutions within the framework of the software, and is a testament to their newly acquired skills.
