In this tutorial we start by shaping the base surface that will become our wing. First, we build the 3D foundation, then use Convert and Divide SOPs to prepare the geometry for what comes next, thinking carefully about how the surface should flow. Once the base is ready, we modify and twist the shape, giving it that natural wing-like curve, and add a PBR material to bring out its form and texture. From there, we work on composition, layer in a particle effect to add movement and life, and finish with post-processing to polish the look. By duplicating the shape, we multiply this effect, turning a single wing into a layered composition.
