RayTK in TouchDesigner introduces an updated instancing workflow that enables the creation of stunning visuals using fewer objects and a more efficient structure. The process begins by building a base 3D scene, adding instancing, and applying transform controls to manage position, scale, and rotation for each element. Individual animations are applied to create dynamic movement, while FPS adjustments and TD Freeze are used to refine timing and performance.
As the composition develops, the geometry shape and main resolution are modified to improve both visual quality and efficiency. Each instance’s position is adjusted to enhance depth and balance, and additional animation layers are introduced to increase complexity and flow. Materials are then added and carefully configured to define surface behavior and interaction with light.
To complete the visual, the background is painted to support the overall aesthetic, and bloom is applied with color tuning to enhance highlights and atmosphere. The final review focuses on cohesion and motion, adding rotation to unify the elements and bring the composition to life.
