In this TouchDesigner tutorial, we create a slitscan effect using feedback. It appears to lag in the video but it doesn't in TouchDesigner, it's just my camera.
Slitscan effects are incredibly fun and interactive. They can seem a lot harder than they are to build. In this video, Elburz shows you how to make a quick slitscan effect with only a few operators in TouchDesigner, which in itself can become the basis of much more complex and interesting effects.
There are variety of effects you can experiment with using optical flow warping, one of them being something like a Stable Diffusion stylization filter.
Been seeing a few people ask about how these types of visuals are made so I put together a tutorial. Tried to keep things simple and implement a few different techniques.
