Victor Vasarely is one of the most well known artists who worked in the Op Art style in the mid 20th century. Working in both painting and sculpture, he developed a unique style which often included bright, mind bending colors and simple geometric shapes. In this video, Jack DiLaura walks you through recreating one of Vasarely’s paintings in TouchDesigner, translating the 2D artwork into 3D geometry viewed through an orthographic camera.
