EYES EFFECT - TOUCHDESIGNER TUTORIAL [05] For Beginners

 

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to create a material that convincingly simulates an eye or iris, integrating figure creation, material design, and texture development. We'll start by introducing the fundamental concepts before moving on to build the 3D figure base. With the base in place, we'll craft a PBR material and adjust the 3D shape accordingly. Next, we'll focus on creating detailed textures, adjusting color levels, and applying a circular mask. By stretching the texture and blurring the edges, we’ll achieve a natural appearance. We’ll then introduce a feedback effect for added realism, animate the iris, and make final adjustments to color and brightness, ending with a review of the completed material.
