We're excited to announce support for ShowNET laser devices by Laserworld in the newly released TouchDesigner Official build.
Communication with a ShowNET laser device is done through the new Laser Device CHOP, which is also the new way to communicate with Helios and EtherDream devices.
To get started, simply create a new Laser Device CHOP, select ShowNET from the device type menu, then select the desired ShowNET device from the device menu.
Use a Laser CHOP to generate the points to send to the ShowNET device, then connect the Laser CHOP to the Laser Device CHOP. There are OP Snippets for the Laser CHOP that can be used as a starting point.
