PONK (Pathes Over NetworK) is a minimal protocol to transfer 2D colored pathes from a source to a receiver.
It has been developped to transfer laser path from a software to another over network using UDP.
Developed in close collaboration with the MadMapper team and fully funded by them, we have created Ponk for TouchDesigner.
This integration facilitates the seamless exchange of laser paths between TouchDesigner and MadMapper, as well as between multiple instances of either software whether running on the same machine or across a network.
To ensure high-performance results with minimal overhead, the tool is implemented in C++ and is available for free on GitHub for both macOS and Windows.
