INTERACTIVE LASER WORKSHOP WITH TOUCHDESIGNER
Hello, I’m Sungmin Oh, a Seoul-based media artist and creative technology instructor working with TouchDesigner, interactive laser systems, sound, hand tracking, DMX, haze, and real-time performance.
I recently completed a five-day workshop titled “Laser · Haze — Performing Light through an Interactive Stage.”
During the workshop, participants explored the complete workflow of building an interactive laser performance using TouchDesigner, from laser safety and basic geometry to audio-reactive control, DMX haze systems, and hand-tracking interaction.

A NEW WORKSHOP IS CURRENTLY BEING PREPARED
Based on this five-day workshop, I am preparing a new small-group interactive laser workshop in Seoul.
The upcoming workshop will be designed for:
• TouchDesigner beginners
• Media and visual artists
• Electronic musicians and live performers
• VJs and motion designers
• Students interested in interactive media
• Creators interested in stage and performance technology
No previous TouchDesigner or laser programming experience will be required.
Participants will learn how to create laser graphics in TouchDesigner and connect them with sound analysis and hand movement to build a short interactive laser performance.
PLANNED FORMAT
• Location: Seoul, South Korea
• Format: Small-group, hands-on workshop
• Capacity: Approximately 6 participants

Laser hardware and output systems will be provided by the instructor.
All laser output will be operated within designated safe projection zones under instructor supervision. Laser beams will not be directed toward participants or audience areas.
