Announcing the Spring 2026 Community Challenge: DRÆM SEQUENCE Powered by PWNISHER aka Clinton Jones and open to the entire TouchDesigner community.
What’s the theme?
Starter Kit
- You get a single, provided audio track with a fixed BPM plus a beat-synced starter template.
For the first time, a dedicated TouchDesigner template ships alongside the usual Blender / C4D files, so TD users can dive in instantly, or tear it apart and rebuild.
Why join?
- A global, all-skill-levels playground—students, pros, hobbyists welcome
- Massive exposure: finished entries roll into a “Top 100” showcase, livestream judging, and a mega-montage finale that doubles as the internet’s largest hand-made VJ set
- The perfect excuse to flex your TouchDesigner’s CHOPs, time-slicing, and real-time rendering muscles•
- Repeat engagement: share WIPs, swap tips, and level up together for an entire month
Important notes
- Duration: one month from launch day (full calendar and template download on the challenge page)
- Deliverable: a short clip rendered at the provided BPM, or a real-time TD network exported to video
- Any style, any workflow, any renderer—just make sure the visuals hit the beat
- Weekly WIP livestreams: Clint and guests review in-progress clips, demo workflows (including TouchDesigner), and answer questions live.
