DARK MATTER (The space in between) - A/V Performance & Installation

DARK MATTER "The space in between" is an audiovisual project inspired by the Dark Matter theory studied by astronomer Vera Rubin.

The project combines science and art through a synesthetic exploration of the boundaries between the visible and the invisible, the real with the mysterious, the spatial with the earthly, and the science with the art.

The images are created through the use of sound waves to make them visible and allow us to appreciate them.

TECHNICAL AND AESTHETIC DEVELOPMENT

The project explores the technical aspects of sound visualization, the audio-visual relationships and the processes of converting data into images.
The sound creation is composed of generative sounds complemented with glitches and modulated synthetic textures.
The images are created real-time with TOUCHDESIGNER and are manipulated and transformed by reacting with audio.
