As a visual artist I have the privilege to work with a lot of great musicians and labels and as a Touchdesigner artist I always try to look for new possibilities to use TD in print work as well. COLDSTREAM is the second LP from the Canadian based Electronic musician known as "Idlefon" (highly recommended). Published via n5MD in California which offered a limited edition dark green marble vinyl record as well. For the art direction Using GLSL I created a patch inside Touchdesigner to manipulate the music data along with a video feed which is a 3D ruined city also rendered in Touchdesigner and turn the outcome into a moving expressionism painting. Along with the album art I also made a teaser video which is included in the post.
