You've probably seen this online trend of using a fly brain dataset to simulate a digital fruit fly moving around in your browser, in Minecraft and even playing Balatro. But what about inside TouchDesigner as a POP network?
Download the repo (alicwyz/FlyBrain), run the code to generate the .csv files and check the .toe and .tox files. You will have a live-simulation of a fly's brain as a point cloud for you to mess with!
Things you can do:
- Render the point cloud using the POP attributes
- Send data to some part of the brain and read what comes out from the other
- Use it as a "black box" computer and train it to predict some output
- Adjust the simulation settings and check what happens
