Generative Metaball Tangency (Free .TOX File) (GLSL-Based)

Generative Metaball Tangency (Free .TOX File) (GLSL-Based)

I've been interested in this technique for a while now but had no idea how to go about it in Touchdesigner, so GLSL was the solution (for me).

This Tox uses GLSL to generate a network of circular blobs that snap onto a hidden grid and grow into place over time, joined by tapered, elastic-looking bridges that swell and fuse where shapes meet. Think rubber bands stretched between pins, inspired by (and evolved past) Armin Hofmann's tangent-circle grid exercises. You control how many shapes appear and how densely packed the grid is, how much they melt together versus stay crisp and separate, the overall size, spacing, and framing of the pattern, its brightness/contrast, a bit of ambient drift.

Feel free to check my Github if you wanna get the "how-to-use" file.

Thanks for checking it out!
