DMX

DMX (known as DMX512) is a standard for communication between devices. This standard was made popular through stage lighting and show control industries, but is now used widely to link all kinds of devices such as lighting fixtures, lighting consoles, fog machines, architectural lighting, home automation devices, and much more.

DMX enabled devices can communicate with TouchDesigner through the DMX In CHOP and the DMX Out CHOP.
