Audio Analysis to Generate 3Dimensional Structures

Hello,

I would like to analyze an audio file i created beyond that of lo, mid, and hi frequencies (i followed Matthew’s tutorial and it was great!). I would like to more specifically analyze things such as spectrum, peak, RMS, spectral flux maybe, what have you, and try to understand the dimensionality of this parameter space. With this information i would like it to then generate a 3D shape using these given variables. I was wondering what my best way to get this would be?

Thanks for all the help!

Ryan

Perhaps a good place to start with the audio analysis part in CHOPs is to look in the Palette > Tools folder at the audioAnalysis component. It’s a big network but does a lot of this things you mention. Also I would check Help > Operator Snippets and review the Audio CHOPs to learn more about what the parameters do.

Great! ill check it out
