I’m re-rendering HD movies to MOV 1/2 Res (960x540) at 30fps in After Effects but am wondering what compression type I should be using- there’s a lot of options so am kinda lost BUT am thinking photo-jpeg? I’ve attached a screenshot so all the options show. THANKS!
Photo/motion jpeg is a good for sure. Lots of people use that and are happy with the file size and quality.
If you need alpha and have fast HDDs or SSDs (and lots of space), then Animation codec is a good choice also.
