Can't do more than 2 audio devices

I have 3 audio devices I want to utilize off my motherboard so that I can input 6 audio channels (3 stereo pairs). So I create an audio in chop for each device (since each input comes in as a separate device) and I reference the appropriate device for each one.

Problem is when I have just one audio in I can select any of my 3 devices and it shows audio signal coming in appropriately. When I have 2 audio in chops referencing any 2 of my 3 devices I have no problem. When I add a 3rd audio in chop no matter which device I point it to, it doesn’t display signal input.

What am I dong wrong?

I don’t think your doing anything wrong. I think I was able to get 3 stereo channels in at one point but the third (on spdif) channel kept going out of phase. I think it happens because TD uses directx audio and it probably depends on what audio device your using to get more than 2 channels.

I’ve been asking for low latency multichannel Asio drivers for a while now.I guess Derivative is looking at implementing WASAPI (which should be low latency multichannel). I’m hoping it is going to be implemented soon.

Thanks for the quick reply Keith. This is unfortunate to hear. Can someone from Derivative confirm this?
