dual monitors in vista

hello all

i have been working in XP and just switched to a machine with vista64. i know about the no-horizontal-span caveat of vista but have read on the boards that people are indeed having success with two monitors. any recommendation on how to configure everything for a dual monitor setup with touch would be greatly appreciated.

best,

scott

We use a matrox triplehead2go for three monitors. There is a dual also.

I dont think there is anything special to do for dualview in vista, just turn it on, and turn off the aero interface for speed.

hello malcolm

thank you for your reply. i was concerned due the error dialog popping up when touch launched - but have been told to simply ignore it. all is well

Malcolm, are the

issues still present?

As far as we can tell, things work well in vista for dualview . The popup warning won’t show up anymore in the next build, when running vista or windows 7.

is it also the same speed as horizontal span? If not, how much slower is it (roughly)
