livefeed & environment map

Hi Everyone!
I’ve been playing around pbr materials and environment light.
What I want to do is create a live feed map.
So the reflections on the geometry will be taken directly from a live feed of a camera.
I simply tried to link a “videodevin”, with the built-in cam as Device, to the “Environment map” of the Environment light.
But of course, this takes a lot of power to my laptop resulting to a consistently drop on the FPS
and a touchdesigner freeze after some minutes.
I certainly doing this wrong :slight_smile:

so here’s my question:
Is there a simpler / different way to do it without taking that much power?

If it’s a live feed, you’ll want to turn off the ‘Use Pre-Filter Maps’, as that is what is taking up so much time
