fireworks simulation

Postby Gallo » Mon May 14, 2018 4:50 pm

hello,

I am looking for a way to make some fireworks

For now i am trying to use particles (is it the way to go ?).

First i used the particle "split at death" feature to simulate the bomb going up and explode but i can't see a way to differenciate colors / forces for the initial particle and the split particles after the explosion. Is there a way ?

Second, i am separating the initial particle going up in the air, and the ones emitted after the death of the initial particle... but that is just the idea i came up with but i can't think of any way to achieve this... How to simulate both separately and link them together ? how can i grab the initial particle position at its death ? etc... (if by any luck this is the right way to do it)

What would be the path to follow to render this kind of effect ?

Thanks a lot
