Windows 10 Installation

I have a TD installation in a clients office that runs 24/7 on Windows 10 Pro. Everything is great except for the blasted auto updates that Windows 10 brought along with it. This has caused several issues already, such as Mosaics not coming back up after the update. Obviously not what any of us want.

So I did a bit of searching and found 2 techniques that would essentially turn off the auto update function. windowscentral.com/how-stop- … windows-10

Has anyone else run into this issue and what are you doing to combat it?
Would you feel comfortable with either of these solutions?

Use Windows 7, the last few Windows 10 updates have caused me many issues.

This is the main reason, that if I need 100% certainty, I run showcomputers on windows 7 only, unless I need kinect2 or stuff like that. Everytime you think you have stopped all updates, a new update comes to change what you have done it seems. These days Microsoft has started to display advertisements in Windows Explorer… I mean --wtf
