Brigade = GPU path tracing render in real time for Touch ?

hardware is not powerful enough just yet - see all that raytracing noise in the realtime videos. Very cool though.

I’ve gotten path tracing to work pretty fast in Touch. GPU’s are totally fast enough now for 30-60 fps (typically 720p…)

I let it go when I had come up with a pretty involved method to get regular Touch geo into the shader (I was making my own primitives). At the time I did come to realize though that if effort was put in it would be totally doable.

Is there any information you can share with your path tracing in Touch?

I am trying to get cleaner shadow maps by potentially raytracing them. I’m pretty new to GLSL so I’m not sure how one might go about getting that sort of thing to work.

for my application it does not need to be totally real time, fast is always better, but I can actually afford something that is a little slow(er) but gets a *cleaner result.
