When importing a FBX into .099 we are getting some strange offsets in the mesh placements. Ive set up an 99 toe file with 2 imports of the same fbx file (attached as well) The 88 import is correct, but in 99 it seems there is something wrong with the coordinates.
The only way to import FBX correctly for now is doing it in 088 and then copying from 088 to 099. I see Roy’s wetransfer links have expired, will attach some other examples
There seems to have been a change in the FBX SDK that broke this. I’m trying to determine if it’s a bug or intended behavior. I’ve added a workaround in the meantime that I hope will work for all cases. Build 2017.2640 or later.
