Can't bind param that is also a menu source

On Mac Os 10.14.5, build 18580, non-commercial

If I create a base, and add a custom parameter that is a menu
and inside the base make a serial component
and make the base’s menu source the serial’s port par
and try to bind the port’s par to the custom par
touch freezes up and freaks out

I realized there’s a different issue going on - not sure exactly what’s happening but periodically selecting the first option in my port drop down will freeze up the environment. Not super reproducible at the moment til I get a crash report, so consider the original bug closed.

We did recently fix issues with port menus not populating correctly.
Are you running the latest?
