Hi guys,
I’m trying to output 10.000 4096x4096px images into one folder, and somehow it stops encoding new files after the first 2.000. I’m outputting them on an HDD with NTFS partition.
I am using the ‘old’ Image mode and not the Image Sequence. What I’m doing is basically going through most the noise TOP parameters in incremental steps and recording an image at each new step.
I actually plan on outputting even more, around 20.000.
Is it a Windows problem or does it have something to do with the Movie File Out TOP?
Hi David,
you certainly have checked obvious things like harddisc space and memory that fills up?
Maybe harddisc seems big enough but Papierkorb is totally full?
Random things to try:
Render out a simple Noise or Ramp at 4096x4096 without your string magic in the
name and see if the same limitation occurs. Maybe the problem is with the names.
Try at lower framerate? Maybe something rendering to memory is to fast and writing to disk
too slow and that creates problems after 2000 images.
Try JPG instead of TIFF
Try to copy (or render with AE) more than 2000 images into the folder without using Touch
and see how that goes
Try another disc
If it is a Win Problem you should find it pretty soon also without Touch
