12741: Circle TOP Softness

If you have a Circle TOP with a radius of 0, you will still see a circle if you increase the softness. It makes it difficult to create animated mattes using it for things like transitions.

Interesting case.
However it looks like softness bleeds before and after the radius, so its consistent with a radius of zero.
This might require a new option on how to apply the softness, in this case strictly within the radius.

Here’s a semi-useful tox in the interim. It has softness but when radius is zero you don’t see anything.

nice example. we’re considering it all.

+1 same issue again and forgot I had posted about it already.

Regardless of the math functioning correctly or not, it’s a UX bug to have a circle of size 0,0 still be visible. David’s shader implements what I think most users would expect to have happen a size and softness slider.
